I have a new story called The Nightshift published this week on Litro.

Set in a nursing home, it’s the story of two young care workers, their elderly residents and an illicit trade in prescription pills run out of a cleaning cupboard after lights out.

It’s my fourth piece for Litro, and my second short story, which you can read here.

Current submissions for fiction, non-fiction, flash and micro are open at Litro on the themes of ‘movement’ (deadline 29 July) and ‘India and the Global South’ (deadline 18 August).
